I've been trying to diagnose a software problem I've been having in Virtual PC 6.1... using Vendio's Sales Manger Pro software. I've noticed that I cannot run tracert from the command prompt in windows yet I can run traceroute just fine from the command line in OS X 10.3. This problem exists with both virtual switch networking and shared networking. Currently, I'm testing this under Windows 98, though the software would crash while syncing with their servers under XP and 2000 as well, so I know the problem lies with Virtual PC, I just don't know what. Internet seems to work fine, but I figured if I was timming out durring the sync process, that might account for the program crashes.
