there are currently no threats for the mac. neither has there ever been, in the 6 years since the switch over to Mac OS X.
there are no virus' for the mac, and consequently, little AV software. Norton Utilities has often been derided by the macintosh community for causing more problems in it's working method than it claimed to solve. steer clear of Norton. there are some small free-ware apps if you want to scan forwarded emails to remove any possible threats that you could possibly forward from someone to someone, but this is only for the paranoid, or business requirements.
