a) Is VPC 5 also so damn slow on your OS X system? I am still using the drive images from VPC 3, Windows 98 SE. They ran fine under 3 and 4 in classic! Really fine. Under the test drive, it was slow, but now, it's unbearable! I installed the latest additions with no luck. Also, my SUSE Linux 7 install no longer runs! When I boot it, I get an instant Kernel panic. Haven't cared about fixing it, but it can't be a kernel extension problem since I tried booting with a minimal kernel.
Is it just me (and maybe a screwed installation) or is the OS X version of VPC 5 still really slow? Or is this because I don't have a DP Mac?
b) ANYBODY managed to get synchronisation with a Compaq iPaq under Win98SE in VPC5 to work? There is no native Mac software for this, and the existing PocketMac is not finished and still quite buggy.
thanx for the help!
