Currently I'm in Iraq...new to the Mac OS and own a G4 Powerbook.
The only internet we have available is from a local iraqi vendor who is using a vpn. Every time I connect, the speed is great, but slowly disintigrates down to near zero every 5 minutes or so, causing me to have to reconnect. The internet connection box still shows me as being connected however. I've tried connecting with other cables which my friends are using with pc's who are not experiencing this problem, but I still get the same connection problem. What can I do to help remedy this...keeping in mind that I'm not very versed with the Mac OS. Thank you very much.
