Wallstreet233 to iMac800 Networking

Hi
Im running OS 8.1 on my PB233, and OS 10.2.8 on my iMac800. Now i am having trouble networking them together. Anyone has any links to a website where i can find a step-by-step guide to doing this?

Have you tried Connect to Server from the iMac to the PB? I think that's the only direction it will work because of changes to AFP (appletalk file protocol - filesharing). Maybe someone else here will know which OS 8 or 9 version you need on the powerbook to connect to OS X.
 
I can't really help, sorry, but I do wonder - why don't you run OS X 10.2.8 on the PowerBook too? I have a 300MHz Wallstreet at it runs more than well enough for most people under 10.2.8.

Unless you have REALLY old programs and you're not interested in loading Classic to run them.
 
Comon penguin, ive got the 13" model, the one without the cache, 96MB RAM, 2GB hard drive... do you really expect it to run OS X? I'd have to try though!!

But,, the good news is, that I got to network OS 8 with OS X PREFECTLY! Just had to enter ethernet addresses!
