Trying to help my son set up his Airport Extreme Base Station. He has the Wanadoo ADSL service, which uses a line-powered USB modem; it's all set up and works fine (except that it always loses the connection on a restart and has to be re-connected at every startup...a pain, but not that bad). Should I
1) Connect the base station via ethernet and try to get it to broadcast using the existing connection, or
2) connect the USB modem to the base station's USB port and try to configure the connection that way?
Since the USB port on the base station is designed for connecting a USB printer, I'm skeptical that it will support getting the interent connection that way. But I'm also not sure that the base station will be able to import a connection from the existing USB modem via the ethernet cable...
Thanks for any advice.
