I have a WD 1TB Hard Drive that will not mount. I dropped it last week and it has been working fine, but today it has stopped. It will not mount.
I am using a MacBook Pro. 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Mac OS X 10.5.8
I have tried Disk Utility and am unable to verify or repair the disk. Sometimes the options are grayed out and sometimes I can select the drive, but receive an error. I cannot copy it here, because it won't let me select the drive this time.
I have tried Data Rescue II and was unable to retrieve any files.
I have tried Disk Warrior and was unable to repair the drive.
Anything else I can do before trying to find a company that can hopefully retrieve the files?
