websharing wont startup

i tried installing php through the terminal window but when i got half way through... it said apache couldnt be started, reason unknown..

so i tried starting filesharing and has been doing so for the past 20 minutes..

have i messed something up?
 
in the CLI run "apachectl configtest" This will test all of your .conf files. When it comes upon an error it will give you what file it is located in and what line number it is. This is great for debugging new installs.
