Here is a heads up for the priviledged few on macosx.com :D
I did an update on my site, new mix, a few more sections, and a few more translations.

If you speak vietnamese -- dont laugh at my translation :p I am a novice at the language ;)

If you visit the russian, norwegian, bulgaria, ukrainian, chinese, japanese, korean, or portuguese editions, I translated those with machine translators so expect some funny mistranslations lol. :D

As for the other languages, if you have any comments, bring em forth, I can always improve :)

Known issues:
Menu in Omniweb (still not fixed :( )
Some fonts are not fully unicode and wont display some chars -- will fix in next update -- only vietnamese is affected
Russian, ukrainian, and bulgarian seem outta whack in the main page.

There's a 100% correct translation to French based on your English introductory text.

I like your splash screen but I'd recommend another font for the "Club Admiralty" text ! I hate this Papyrus font... Some great fonts are available for free at http://www.fontface.com and at http://www.1001fonts.com.

lol... I liked papirus (it was different from what I have been using for the past couple of years) but I will be changing the initial splash screen sometime next december and I am looking for font ideas. I will be having an olympic theme next year due to teh Athens 2004 Summer games :D

Thanks for teh correction of my french :) I will be making those changes soon (like now ;) ) --- my french definatelly needs practice hehehe.

Any ideas for future updates are welcomed :)

Thanks ;) -- Ever since my friend "left" the internet (german girl with which I spoke french with) I havent had anyone to talk with (of course she could not understand what I was saying through my bad accent but anyways, she was cool :D )

Well I am have to go prepare my suitcase ;)

A tout a l'heure mes amis :)

If you do the translations manually, it must take you a lot of work. I should know, because I've translated some of my webpages (and shall do it again soon). Tedious work.

If it's been done through software, why not give out instructions on how to browse your site through a website that translates pages? It'd save you work, and the language might be understandable enough, though not as good as it is now.

From your intro page, I see that it's been almost a year since you last posted news. Assuming that most of your audience speaks English, I say you should focus more of your energy into updating the english version of your page.

The other languages are there for a few reasons. (1) Not everyone speaks english, and I did not want anyone to not be able to view my site. (2) I like foreign languages and I study them, so it's good for me to have a way of practicing them, so I translate my web page.

Unless reason number two can, by itself, justify the effort put into translating your site, at the expense of not being able to update the English version of your site more often, then the translations should be stopped. Or do you get a good amount of pageviews on the spanish pages? I don't know, so I ask.
