Weird Print Sharing problem? HELP

OK, here is the problem. I have a HP laserjet 4MP connected to an old G3 300 with OS9. I have installed localtalk Bridge so I can print to it from my G4 on my local network. It has worked flawlessly for a year or so.

Then the other day when I went to print from my G4, the document magically dissapeared from the print queue without an error or printing. It processed the job then vanished.

I can print to the printer from my G3, I checked appleshare and localtalk control panel, all looks normal. I can connect to the G3 from my G4 and I even deleted the printer from OSX and it showed up in the available list and added it again. So there seems to be a certain amount of communication but no docs will print.

Does anyone have any suggestions...besides buying an adaptor or anything like that. It has worked fine for so long so I shouldn't have to buy something to get it to work now.

Go to the System Folder>Preferences of the G3 (OS 9) and trash the AppleTalk Pref, Bridge Pref and Local Talk Pref (if there is one). Empty the trash. Now go to the Chooser and at the same time hold down the Option and the Apple Keys. Continue to hold them down as you select the chooser until you hear an alert sound. Now release the keys and the chooser should come up. Now configure everything and you should be printing again.
