Hi all.
(My english isn't the best so don't kill me please )
Computer is an Apple Powerbook G4 400/256mb/30gb

I've done the following : I wanted to start OS9 but I forgot to press the alt key.. at the osx boot screen (when it loads the whole stuff) i pressed the power button to turn the PB off... since then osx didn't start anymore.
After that i formatted the osx partition (i've 3 volumes, one is the osx partiton) and installed Jaguar... the installation works but it uses only one cd and after the first reboot it hangs up at the osx screen (it shows only osx, no progress bar at the bottom...)

Can anybody help me please ?

ok, this is the old text...
Now i installed OSX 10.1 again...worked...updated to jaguar... it hangs around at the osx screen, without any progress bar... when i press some keys and the mouse is over the osx screen the color disk begins to spin... nothing more happening....

It sounds like the installation did not get completed properly. First try running the "fsck -y" repair. If that doesn't help, you should probably reinstall Jaguar.
