Word processing a little, tons o' internet stuff, a lot of downloading of utilities and hacks and stuff, various technophile-work
 
A bit graphic design, but I really use OS X as a multimedia center, I constantly burn CDs, watch movies, play music, play games and all that stuff on my Mac...useful purposes are just a part
 
Yeah, *everything* sounds about right ;)

Mostly I use my iBook for study purposes though, at the moment I'm working on Java2... soooo hard :(
 
What do YOU use Mac OS X for?

Pirating warez. Just kidding, but I'll admit, I have checked out Carracho after seeing it mentioned on the pirating thread and have come to the conclusion that it's by far the easiest app for downloading warez and far superior to anything Windows has to offer.
 
But the interface is very cramped... :(

I also use Mac OS X for displaying metric time.
 
At home I use it for pretty much everything, but it's gotten kind of hard since Apple totally screwed up the display settings and/or OpenGL in 10.1.5.

UNIX (for data analysis), MS-Office compatibility (for automated writing of reports in Excel), and UNIX again (for automated sending of these reports to their recipients, raising alarms, if necessary); sadly, this option is not available in your poll :)
 
FTP (school work @ home)

AIM ( i am online sooo much! Ima talkative little girl :))

iMovie ( I make tons of movies with my friends and am planning to become a director :))

Word processing( school reports.. etc)

INTERNET( Ima internet junkie! Between email, the web, and AIM I HAVE to have cable service!)

Gaming ( Me and my friends are addicted to the Sims :))

And tons of other stuff... theres so much to do with Mac OS X i cant even count them all!

I use it for graphic design, the internet, making websites, for email and chatting with my friends, and just killing that extra time.
