When I right click on the Macintosh HD icon on my desktop it says I'm using Mac OS Extended. However, when I look at /etc/fstab.hd I see this:
/dev/hd0a / ufs rw 1 1
/dev/hd0e /var ufs rw 1 2
/dev/hd0f /usr ufs rw 1 2
/dev/hd0d /tmp mfs rw,-s=12000,-b=8192,-f=1024,-T=sd660 0 0
Which is right? I suspect it's Mac OS Extended and that the fstab.hd thing was enherited from BSD and never cleaned up by apple.
Can somebody out there reconcile these two things?
Thanks in advance,
Vanguard
