What is you CPU usage?

I've been running into CPU overload problems with my iMAc G5 2.1GHZ 1.5gig
My grageband uses aroung 50% with all the tracks frozen.
Firefox uses around 20% with 4 tabs.
I can't use pro TOols because I always get CPU overload even with 1 track.
Could it be that my CPU is defective?
