what kind of slot is it?

ok, i have a rather different question to ask, and hope that someone knows the answer. my mac specs are stated in my sig. it has an empty air port slot. what kind of interface is it? is a standard pcmcia slot, or something special just by apple? i'm wondering what i might be able to put in that slot to add more to my mac.

It's _theoretically_ a PCMCIA slot, but a little different, so the only card you can use with it is an AirPort 1 card by Apple.

well, i've been doing some reading, and it seems that is basically the fact. it is a type 1 pcmcia slot, but with a couple of pins swapped so that it only works with wireless cards. and then there has been limited success with different types of wireless cards. so i wonder if there's a wireless-g type card that would work in there.
