What's in the boxes

But as the G5s are not available until August what was actually in those infamous boxes? Do we know?

I think it may have been the iSight, they where supposed to be available at the end of the keynote, but the lady at the apple store said "they will be available the moment they arrive at the back door, it could be any time today or tomorow"...

But the boxes are NOT as big as PowerMacs!

if I were Steve, I would have shipped boxes filled with styrofoam, apple cores, and old Chinese newspapers. It got people into the stores.

Just goes to show that the rumor sights are complete crap. The only things they had right was the announcment of the G5, and that was only because Apple goofed and accidentally posted the specs.

Those stories of how the "Germans opened the boxes" are just obviously some thought up garbage that's completely fake.

There was even one sight that said that there would be G5 Powerbooks and iMacs released yesterday. HAHAHAHA
