I have this MBP for two weeks, my first apple product and loving it every second of it. I only get the temp of my hard drive, not my processor. i am using a widget, it called Temperature Moniter, it only show my hard drive. i saw some people have their hard drive and their processor showing the tempaerture. so i would like to know my processor, make sure it is cooling properly beause i feel my bottom of my MBP is too hot, you could make a scramcble eggs on it. my HDD show 95 degress to 110. sometime i put it to sleep to cool it down.

So i really want to know if my processor is not overheating. im not showing any slowdown or any problem, but still. i would like to see my processor temperature.

CoreDuoTemp.

Are you sure that hard drive temperature isn't in Fahrenheit? 95ºF is about 35ºC which is the temperature my hard drive normally hovers around.

That widget should show CPU temperature, it certainly does on my G5. If you haven't sdone so already click on the small i in the bottom left of the window and you should be able to select which sensors you wish to monitor.

He was probably sure it was Fahrenheit and didn't _expect_ it to be Celsius because he _thinks_ in Fahrenheit, Viro. :) I get confused about these things all the time.

my widget didnt show my intel cpu temp. it only show HDD, i did click the option and look for second sensor, it only show HDD on the list, no cpu.

Fryke, you are right, it not on C, it on F. because my widget is showing a big fat F on the moniter.

Well, seeing as he was describing it as being hot enough to cook eggs, and putting his laptop to sleep to cool it off, I thought I'd better be sure :D.

If only the world would move to meters, grams and Celsius... but I digress.

but again, HDD is not my concerns, i know HDD tend to go that temp. but my main concern is my processor. i need to know if is it on the normal temp.

Yeah, it is. My CPU fans start kicking in at 70ºC which is about 158ºF and my CPU then hovers at about 60ºC (140ºF).
