White LED blinking during stand-by

A strange thing has started to happen on my Powerbook.

In the past, when I closed the lid, the computer would go into standby and the White LED on the latch would blink. Opening the lid would bring the computer back to the active state and the LED would go dark.

Now, the situation has flipped. While closing the lid still puts the computer in standby and opening it still wakes it (this works just fine), the LED now blinks while the computer is active and goes dark when the computer is in standby.

Any suggestions?

Well if the computer itself is still functioning, i would say dont worry about it. its not like its waisting battery power. unless its bugging you too much, i dont see any problem as long as you can still function in the computer. otherwise, no clue

I gather you've tried it but I just want to make sure. Have you restated your computer since this has started to happen?
