why can't i paste into text-boxes in camino and othe stuff?!

I have a PBG4 and am using Camino. when I try to paste, I get the 'you can't do that sound' and no paste. I'm able to paste in Word, the address bar of Camino.

I've also notice that my directional arrows are not working (page, page, home, and end). They work fine in Safari.

Any ideas?
