Why's the iSight so expensive?

Don't get me wrong, it's very beautiful and compact. But it would cost me £119. To put that on scale, that's the same price as 3 games, or the bleutooth mouse and keyboard, with £20 left, and my Powerbook itself cost £1219.

Just seems too much
 
Firewire Web Cams usually cost about $100.00 US, plus the iSight has a built in mic and it's from Apple.
 
its probably one of the best out there too boot as well.
I've never had any problems with it, while my girlfriend has a USB Logitech running windoze, well hers works every once and a while.
the iSight is one of the best investments that i've made for my mac. Can't wait till i pay off my laptop and get my iPod. :)
