I have a very wierd problem with some Airport Extreme basestations in AP mode, not router. From time on time some of our basestations do not allow communicate the wireless clients with the wired network. They are configured to use Enterprise WPA. The client's WPA authentication against the RADIUS server is succesfully (it is relfected in the log file), but they can not receive the IP address from the DHCP server (a linux server in the wired lan).
The only solution: unplug the basestation's power cord, wait some time (a couple of minutes) and reconnect. After that, it works well (until the next failure
)
The DHCP server works well, the RADIUS server works well.
The Airport is connected to the LAN using the LAN connector (not the WAN), the firmware is the lastest: 5.5.1.
The Airport have a fixed IP address (and it is visible from the wired LAN when it fails)
We have 6 Airports, and the problem is showed in all of them (not with the same probability)
I do not know what I can do :'(
