Wierd thing in classic!

I was running Entourage in classic (2001) and got a system error box with the restart button. Before I would just force quite entourage and restart classic. This time I just happened to click send and receive, I got my mail and then the box dissappeared. Clasic is still running and working great.

Yeah, Classic is still a little quirky.

One weird thing I've noticed:

You know installers that have to quit all running applications? Well, Classic applications still do that, and what's annoying is that they close all carbon and cocoa applications as well! In itself, this isn't that weird, because the installers were designed to do that and Classic is designed to interface with Carbon/Cocoa apps. But at the end of the installer, when it says to restart your computer, and you click the button, it only restarts Classic! That's a big discrepancy there, even though I'm thankful it never does restart the whole computer.

I've also seen that... and restarting Classic is sufficient ! Because it is used to load the extensions... and extensions only exist in Classic.

I have also seen that quite often, when classic starts, I can stop the start at 25%, and still have most classic applications operate perfectly well.
