I have everything working fine on my home WIFI network. In order to enhance security, I have, among other things, now disabled the broadcast of my SSID. This works fine, except everytime I put my powerbook to sleep or power it up, I have to go to airport and manually enter the SSID and password to connect. This is annoying. Is there anyway to keep my home WIFI in the network selection dropdown list, or have airport automatically try to connect to my WIFI, even though it cannot "see' it? The network is saved in my preferred network setting, so why do I have to enter it everytime I need to connect?
