I was reading the windows users are soo boring thread and people started doing articles on when Microsoft released "new" products. I think it warrant's its own thread. Please post any news articles that will be likely to show up in the future!
 
EXTRA: Microsoft Forced to Break Up, DOJ Says

Today the United States Department Of Justice along with 26 of 50 states that formed a plurality, decided to break apart the multi-billion dollar corporation under the charges of being a Monopoly. Bill Gates, Owner and Founder, along with any other contact at Microsoft could not be reached for immediate comment. Steve Jobs of Apple Computer, Inc. stated, "This is a great day for the computer and software industry. Now nobody will be forced to use the standard and other, mostly better, alternatives will now be more widely available." Mr. Jobs also announced a dramatic lowering in prices on all of their products. iMac's at 800 MHz with Apple's revolutionary SuperDrive is now at $1399 due to the expected increase in demand for their hardware.

Extra:Microsoft Breaks up Government Monopoly.

In an long anticipated announcement, Microsoft has ordered the Justice Department to be broken up into four smaller government agencies. "We at Microsoft have long been committed to ending illegal monopolies. Today's decision is a victory for all consumers and corporations. For many years, the Justice Department has used it's monopoly power to threaten other individuals and companies into conforming to 'laws' which stifled competition and hurt the consumer." Local anarchist Nate Ballmer was pleased by the ruling "This is a victory for justice and freedom. Now I am free to innovate in anyway I see fit." Ballmer then went on to attack a police officer.
