Windows Internet Sharing Dead

I have my iMac connected straight to my PC and I've set up the PC's internet connection to be shared and it worked fine, from Jaguar to 10.3. Ever since 10.3.2 it just won't recognise that the internet connection is there. Any suggestions?

Share the connection between the two computers with a router, perhaps?

I don't have one. I have a network cable running from one computer to the other one and they worked just fine before going past 10.3. I can access my PC's files fine and do whatever, it just won't see the internet connection! Any more suggestions?

Yeah but it worked fine before, it's obvious some settings are out of whack. I'm not buying a thing. This is just peeing me off.

Double-check settings like firewall. Panther changes some prefs.
