Windowshade v3 has Minimise in Place

uoba

Re: member
I never got to try this feature in the Jaguar betas (before it was subsequently removed from the final release).

I love it... makes sorting out my desktop a whole lot easier!:D

I completely agree... Before I was using Virtual Desktop to keep some order but I was regularly experiencing misbehavior and slowness... Now I am using minimize in place (installed it from a link on this forum...) and use this to organise everything.
I'd love to see a feature that you can always minimize in place to a certain region of your desk...

MiP is ok in WindowShade, not as clean looking as the Apple implementation. Also, it would be nice to be able to set the 'pin' point, that is, to determine the point within the expanded window where it will mimize to, e.g. top-left, top-center, top-right, window center, etc.

Good to see they're continuing to develop it for sure.

In my opinion, the only place a window should minimise-in-place to is directly under the cursor.

Anyway, I'm using the Jaguar beta version of MIP, and I must say it's quite classy. If Unsanity can pull it off gracefully, I might just have to buy it. :)
