Haven't been here in a while so forgive me if this is old ground. I didn't find any answers browsing or searching the forum.
I am trying to browse smb/cifs servers on an NT domain. The Jaguar Samba client picked up my domain automatically and displayed it in the "Connect to Server" dialog box. With no WINS server configured, I can browse the domain for machines on my own subnet, which is normal behavior. However, if I configure a WINS server (either in /Applications/Utilities/Directory\ Access or by adding a "wins server = " entry to my smb.conf) only the WINS server itself shows up in the domain.
Apparently I am not the only one to experience this . behavior.
Does anyone have an explanation/fix?
