I have an iMac core duo G5 and an iBook G4 wirelessly connected via an Airport Extreme.
I have no problems as long as a connection is not broken by a restart of either machine, but whenever either must restart, then I can establish connection from the iMac to the iBook but not the reverse.
The only way I can then see the iMac from the iBook is to take the laptop upstairs to the desk beside the iMac then re-establish the connection. It is fine until the next time either is restarted, then the whole process must be repeated. Since the connection remains until a restart, I don't suspect a diminished signal.
I've tried everything I can think of to cure this frustration but so far no luck.
Any suggestions?
