im not good with macs, or computers in general... so forgive me if this is a stupid question!
ive had my macbook for quite a few months, and the internet was working fine at my home, and still is working fine at school. our power was out one day and i needed to complete an assignment, so i stole our neighbours wireless connection in order to do so. now, i cant seem to get on the internet using my own connection again. this is the error i am getting:
"Airport is connected to the network wireless_804 (my network). AirPort has a self assigned IP address and may not be able to connect the the Internet."
the only help im getting from the Network Diagnostic is to reset my wireless router, which I have tried doing and has not helped me with my problem.
