Anyone know anything about wireless extenders? I have a D-Link DI-624 wireless router and am getting flaky connections in parts of the house. One minute I have 3/4th's signal, the next moment I have none. I don't know what it is because I've tried all sorts of tests with the phone, thinking that may be causing interferance.
Anyways, I'm looking for an extender because I think that might work to fix the problem. I've been looking at the ones on D-Link's site but can't figure out what's right for me. My router is a 802.11g with 108Mbs, so I want one that won't slow me down.
I was thinking this one might be good, it's the only one that says it will work with my route but it says it's for outdoor?
Are there any other brand antennas that would work?
[EDIT] I just saw the price of the antenna, $189!! Now, they have a box that is called an extender....would that work just as well or do you think a better antenna would be best to have?
