my G4 is unable to connect to my wireless connection. it finds my secure network but is unable to connect to the internet?

What wireless router are you using? Are any other computers able to connect to the Internet over that connection?

Depending upon what you implemented as "security" you may need to tell your router that the new computer should be allowed to connect. There is a setting in Linksys systems (and I assume others) where you can set up a level of security where you have to register computers as being allowed on your network. No computer not on the list can access.
