Wireless Issue after .local domain Join

I have successfully gotten my Powerbook G4 to connect to a .local domain via editing the /usr/bin file. After this my wireless acts up. I am able to connect with my wireless, ping the entire local network, connect to the server, but when I attempt to browse the web or send e-mail no luck. If I connect a local ethernet cable I have no issues at all.

It sounds like it would be a default gateway issue, but everything is DHCP and everything under Network/AirPort looks correct it has the Router IP Address as the default gateway.

Any information on this would be wonderful.

look at the IP address that is showing in the IP feld in Network. I have this happen to me what I found out was that I had the same submask as the network. That being why I could see the networked macs. But when I looked at the IP that DHCP was giving me it was 192.168.1.100. When I looked at the rest of the macs on the network they had IPs that read 192.168.0.xxx. Will I found out that what had happened here wasw my rater had only 5 IPs it could give in the 192.168.0.xxx range. So it gave me on wireless a higher IP address but by doing that it made me not able to use the gateway. So I reset the IP range to 255 IPs it could give out and now every mac in the house is happy. Hope that helps some.
