Wireless Networks

i have just made the switch from pc to an iMac (running OS X), and have a problem with my wireless network. I can get the iMac to recognise the network and access the web, but then (on a fairly frequent basis) the iMac loses the Network. I then run Network diagnostics and it re finds the network. The network is a Dell Truemobile, and the signal strength is full. Does anyone know how i stop this problem

The channel thing can be important. The channels overlap a fair bit. I use a network stumbler like the awesome Kismac (http://kismac.de/) to look at the networks in the area. As i remember I use channels 1, 6 and 11 as they do not overlap at all. If its only one other network nearby, just select on 5 channels away from them, else set it as far away as you can.

That said, try the interference robustness first :).
