Hello, I have a networking issue with my Time Capsule and a Netgear router.
My Time Capsule is across the house from my room, and I recently got it to replace a Netgear router. However, this router, the WNR834B v2, is also able to be used as a wireless repeater. When I set it up as such, I could connect to the wireless network, and it showed a much higher signal, however it said that it had a "Self-assigned IP address," and I could not connect to the internet.
Is it possible to set up my Netgear router as a wireless repeater for my Time Capsule? Or must I buy an Airport Express?
