After installing Fusion 3.01 and MS Vista Home Premium on my MacBook the printer will not work. It was working well with Snow Leopard via bluetooth. Now I get a message that the "HP4385 printer is disconnected." I connected a printer/USB cable and still get the same message in Vista even after rebooting Fusion. So, I tried changing some of the settings for the printer in the Control Panel - no luck.
I was able to load Hallmark Card Studio 2009 and can use the icon on the Vista desktop to start it; when opened I can design a card but it won't print with the message as described above; with or without the printer cable connected.
I shut down Vista/Fusion and used Snow Leopard to print a simple document and I got the same message "HP4385 printer is disconnected." So, I tried changing some of the settings for the printer in System Preferences - no luck. I reconnected the printer cable and it prints with Snow Leopard.
The desired outcome is for the printer to work via bluetooth with either Snow leopard or Vista.
Any help is much appreciated.
