WMP Password problem, please help.

Alright, the problem is as following. I payed for access to a streaming site and their system works this way:

First I log in using my account (safari) then I get a list of all the streams. Now when I click one of the streams, Windows MEdia player (9.0.0) automatically pop up, however I was told that WMP was supposed to ask me for a password at this point, but it does not. I only get the message "access denied" obviously because it didnt ask for a password and username.

How do I get around this problem?

Quite possibly, WMP for Mac doesn't support this feature (authorisation) at all... Maybe you have to use VirtualPC or a PC to really access the streams...
 
And why not using another app to access the stream? for some reason, the WMP installer that i've downloaded doesn't work, so i'm using VLC...
