wondering about a movie subtitle....permanently

I'm looking for a program or a way how to add my srt (subtitle) files onto my divx avi files permanetly into one movie file instead of having an external subtitle file in order to view the movie with subtitle.

I believe VLC will do this. You would use the File ->Streaming/Exporting Wizard option. I haven't got any subtitled movies to test it on though so let us know how you go.
