Would it ever be possible to put a small projector in an ipod, or have a tiny clip on projector? Is there even such thing as a portable under 2 lb portable HD projector? This way you could take your ipod of the future with a bunch of movies, music or video clips to an ipoding party...hook the bad boy up to this ipod projector and see everything going on a wall or screen. Of course unless some miracle occurs and they figure out how to put a 2000 watt battery into an ipod probably not going to happen. But then again, the future always looks pretty bright. I just don't want a darn movie screen built into my ipod... I want a HD projector built in.
 
I guess they would be good for shadow puppets. If you were to have a different medium/canvas that contained some form of chemical... would it be possible to project a picture without almost any light. How could you activate the particles on this surface screen in specific order causing them to generate the light. Or some form of an slight electrical charge. If you were to create tiny tiny 5 sided spheres and then sandwich them between glass. Every, side would have a different color or black and white. So, this way if the thing was turned on everything would rotate to the white side...off the black side. ++ charge would be red -- would be blue +- would be red. I think we could reduce power consumption if we could do something like this.So, if I had 1 million tiny little 5 sided spheres sandwiched between these layers and if I could figure how to turn each one of an on indivdually... could create a colorized etch a sketch for the future. Of course this wouldn't work to well for motion images but static or very slow under 5fps probably would work.
