Worth buying this old iMac? Read.

This mac workshop place near me has old Purple and Orange iMacs (300mhz) with like 128mb and 96mb of RAM with 4gb hard drive, Ethernet, CDROM (no DVD), etc. with keyboard mouse, etc. OS 9.1 and I BELIEVE all the CDs that come with an old iMac. I got them down to $160 + 6% sales tax so its like $170 afterwards and stuff. Is it worth it? Would it be an asset? Gonna work good with my Airport Network? Gimme some advice and let me know what cool apps are out for OS 9.1!!!

Check eBay.com and see what they're going for.

Those older iMacs don't have an Airport slot.

In order to use iTunes Music Store it has to be faster than 400Mhz and you to be running OSX. There is a version of iTunes for 9 though but it does not work the store. I have a friend with a system of this vintage and he can not access the the iTMS.

you could get an older G4 on ebay cheap as well. The iMac is worth the price, but be cautious of investing money in G3. That is my two cents.
