wrong hd drivers

Hi.

I´ve coma across a problem involviong a driver prob. I can´t Install a system reliably with the current driver. Tried to install apple RAID drivers to the harddrive but without success. I can install the OS but I can´t boot up with it. How do I get rid of the driver so I can partition the drive with apple partition program???

Boot up from the OS 9 cd, and initialize the drive using the disk utility. If you have the option to zero out the data I would recommend it. You mentioned RAID, is this a RAID hard drive array? If so, I would also go to the hardware manufacturers site and see what they have to say.
