X files in 9

i'm running 10.2. when i reboot in 9.2, there are a whole lot of "Mac OSX Aliases" on the hard disk. Can I delete these or not? they're just like plain document files and are only a few K in size.

I wouldn't do that if I were you...

Those files are normally hidden in OS X for good reason.

You can erase SOME of them. I've tried. But they'll come back at nxt X reboot. Forget'em is my advice.

in that case, is there any way of hiding them in 9 so i cant see them?
