X11 beta 0.3 problem?

For some time now, I've been using XDarwin and then later Apple's own X11 app in order to forward displays from IRIX workstations in the office to my Mac at home. Fairly recently, I installed version 0.3 of Apple's X11 app and my own X11 programs worked fine on my G4. However, today I tried forwarding a display from work to my Mac at home (probably the first time since installing version 0.3) and I got the following error when the program tried to run:

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow)
Serial number of failed request: 98
Current serial number in output stream: 105

Has anyone else experienced problems and/or does anyone know what has caused this?

Sorry I don't know what it is but I do know that mine is working. Is the problem in the ssh -X or when starting programs remotely?

I use ssh -XC user@server, so this should not be a problem. I actually created an alias in my .cshrc to do this, as I log into the UNIX servers so often! So this aspect of things will not have changed.

As I say, running local programs, which require X11, is fine. It has only been the connection to this remote server which has given me problems.

Anyone have any ideas? Is it version 0.3 that's responsible? I'm not sure how to give Apple feedback on this without being a member of the ADC.

Just an update...

As I said, I have tried running X Window based programs on the G4, which all worked fine. But recently I tried running other, more basic X Window programs remotely on an IRIX machine, such as xclock. This worked.

It seems it is one specific program on the IRIX workstation which no longer works under X11 beta 0.3, though it still works fine on the workstation itself and runs normally too when run remotely through PCs using PuTTY and Exceed. I also tried creating a .xinitrc file on my G4 and changing the window manager to twm, in case it was something to do with the quartzwm, but this did not fix the problem.

:(

Does anyone have any ideas?
