I have a problem with using fonts in X11 : I don't get the same list of fonts depending of the application.
E.G. : the Gimp have a short list of rather classical fonts, but Bluefish gets a list of fonts much more bigger.
I looked at the /etc/X11/XftConfig file, it contained those lines :
dir "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
dir "/Library/Fonts"
dir "/System/Library/Fonts"
I added this one for test :
dir "~/Library/Fonts"
Result : Bluefish gets the fonts in "~/Library/Fonts", but the Gimp doesn't.
I tried a simple app as xfontsel and I get the short list, i.e. the same as the Gimp one.
Does anybody know why I can't see all my fonts in all my apps?
