I'm so glad Apple is keeping up their X11 development! I'll get my iBook back tomorrow morning, and after reinstalling everything (it's being replaced, because of a motherboard issue :/) I'll give the new version a shot...
Just thinking... Apple X11 1.0, say, July, August? PowerPC 970 in Macs, say, August? Mac OS X 10.3, say, August? Major UN*X geek switching campaign, say, August?

I installed .3 last night, after nearly an hour of waiting for the download (as I battled every other geek on the planet trying to get the thing from the overloaded servers). It seems to be quite a bit snappier on screen-draws than before; the quartz-integration is going well. At this rate, I may never use Linux as a desktop again...
