In my quest to solve the disappearing cursor problem in gimp, I upgraded to XDarwin 1.04 based on the good advice of some of you folks here.
It seemed to solve the problem in gimp, but now my cursor disappears regularly all over the place. I am using Windowmaker and running rootless. What happnes is this. When switching between OS X and Darwin, some times (not all) my cursor will not appear unless I move it around - usually passing over an Xwindow for some open application will cause it to reappear. It happens all the time. Some times, using OSX to hide all but XDarwin helps, but it is very strange.
Anybody else have this problem?
Anybody have any ideas?
