XP shows a lot of latency in accessing 10.6.6 shares. Other mac access to the same files within the same network do not have the issue. This latency is most prevalent on the initial access of a share. Subsequent accesses to the same share are much better until the next XP reboot and an amount of time goes by and we are back to square one.
