Your Opinion on my photography?

Better than mine! Quite similar subject matter though, maybe good to go seek out some other material. What's that gallery system by the way?

I have a d50 but i'm still working out how to use it. That said i'm almost certainly gonna splurge on a nikkor 18-200 soon

Honestly? There's a lot of room for imporvement. The focus in almost every single picture is unclear. You don't use the rule of thirds in any of the pictures, which makes them very amateur-ish and boring. Don't give up hope though, your subject matter and the way you view them is appealing; just not quite there yet in my opinion.

Subject matter is mundane but execution and colors are pretty good. Actually there is some use of the rule of thirds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds, just not enough interest in the photos to make them very powerful.

I have to agree with Trip. Your eye seems to be good, just not your camera hand. Try taking it off of "Automatic" and allow yourself some more creative freedom. Saturate colors a bit more and study the rule of thirds. Keep in mind what emotion you want to portray to your audience and you'll be much more successful in capturing what your mind sees.
