Zend Studio 4.0 problem

I've just installed Zend Studio 4.0 (the java IDE for php development) but I have some problems with it.
The autocompletion doesn't work and if I press "backspace" key, the program deletes two chars at once.

I've already used Zend Studio 3.5.2 without any problem and I trashed all the prefs before installing the new one.

I've also tried to reinstall the 4.0 version but with no luck.

Any suggestion?

i've just try to play with the settings, the problem is only when u set "use OS look and feel" to disabled in the preferences pane and only on 4.0.0 version
