Zoo Tycoon

My iMac 1ghz 17" is having trouble playing the higher end games like Unreal Tournament 2003, Warcraft III, and SimCity 4. Does anyone have Zoo Tycoon? How does this play on your Mac? Is there any slowdown when it gets to the point where the map is filled with buildings, people, and animals? I really would like to get this game, but if it's choppy and what-not, I don't think i will. If anyone could give me some insight on this game, I'd appreciate it.

I have Zoo Tycoon (gotta love those maneating penguins ...). If it helps at all, it runs really well on mine: I have a dual 1.2GHz G4 and I've had no problems when things get crowded, unlike SimCity 4 and some Tropico scenarios, which can get very choppy.

I own a 466 Mhz G3 iBook and Zoo Tycoon runs amazing on it! It's really great! So far I havn't seen any slowdown at any point in the game. No choppiness at all.
