Since about a week ago I have had to reset the iphone because it would not respond or turn on.
It all started when I set the password for it. A couple days later I slide the slider bar to turn it on and was about to put my password in when it didn't respond to me typing any keys in. So I...
That did not work either. When I go into Network Browser on the old imac and click on the new imac that it sees I get the error message "The server James Computer cannot be found". The old imac sees the new imac but seems like it cannot connect for whatever reason.
I have an old imac 233 here that has os 8.5 on it and I am having a tough time getting files transfered over to my new imac. I tried a usb hard drive and the old mac did not pick it up.
Any ideas?

I have a dual 2.5ghz G5 that freezes when it is given a very intensive number crunching task.
Also the computer is VERY loud if I do anything like open up firefox or any small app.
Any idea what the problem is?
I just burned a dual layer dvd in windows to move info from that computer to my mac and the imac does not read it, just spits it out after a couple seconds.
BUT, when I boot the mac to bootcamp xp it reads it just fine.
Burned it with nero in windows.
Any ideas?

Getting very annoying.
I have an external 60gb hard drive that is formated with fat32 that I used for my windows computer. When I hook it up to my mac all I can do is view the folders but can't add or delete anything on it. Is it because mac can't use fat32 fs?
I am running the new core 2 duo 20" imac.
